PhotoToFilm transforms your static photo collections into dynamic and attractive video presentations, complete with transitions and artistic effects. The program will use the video codecs already installed on your system to create your dynamic photo albums, but you are also offered the possibility of downloading new codecs from the developer’s site if necessary. This easy-to-use application is suitable for all types of users, and allows you to add your favorite music to your best shots in a simple and efficient way.

Simplicity is probably the term that best defines PhotoToFilm. All the features and functions you need to convert your photographs into creative presentations are present in the program’s one-window interface. There you can select and preview your pictures, shuffle them or put them in the order of your choice, add a soundtrack and match the length of the MP3 file with the duration of the presentation, adjust the resolution of the output movie, define the showing time for each picture, etc. You can also add subtitles or other texts to your movies, such as titles or picture locations. More experienced users may miss a higher level of customization, especially when it comes to selecting transitions and effects, but that is precisely what makes this tool so convenient for all kinds of potential users.

Once your video is ready, you can tell the program to play back the generated file for you or even burn it to CD or DVD, though you will need to download and install additional software tools (namely KC Softwares’ CopyToDVD) to do so. This will help you to share the resulting video with your friends and relatives in a more straightforward and hassle-free task.
